Citrus diet

Citruses are fruits that help in the process of  fat burning, which leads to rapid and significant reduction in body weight. In addition they supply the body with vitamin C. The practice of this diet allows loss of about 6 pounds in 5 days.

The diet:

Breakfast each day:
Every morning start with a juice of one lemon, diluted with 150ml mineral water. The breakfast should include: a piece of whole wheat bread with a piece of low fat cheese; a glass of citrus juice of your choice, one cup yogurt with 3 spoon sugar free cornflakes and juice of half a lemon.

Day 1:
Lunch: one boiled egg, sauce of one cup sour milk (or yogurt) and half chopped small cucumber, parsley and black pepper.
Snack: a cup of yogurt with the juice of half a lemon.
Dinner: 1 cup boiled pasta with 1 and 1/2 cup steamed mushrooms and soy sauce.

Day 2:
Lunch: Soup of 1 cube bouillon, 2 cups of carrots, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, one tea spoon of olive oil, 1 medium chopped onion and soy sauce; plus 1 cup cooked rice.
Snack: a cup of yogurt with the juice of half a lemon.
Dinner: salad from cabbage, 1 cup boiled (or steamed) then shredded skinless chicken breast with 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, lemon juice and black pepper, plus one orange.

Day 3:
Lunch: 1 and 1/4 cup grilled pork fillet with lemon juice, black pepper and salt; 1 and 1/4 cup boiled potatoes.
Snack: a cup of yogurt with the juice of half a lemon.
Dinner: 1 cup potatoes, large onion cooked with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. In the same pot add 2 cups boiled or steamed chicken breast without skin. When the vegetables are softened add one tablespoon of lemon juice, black pepper, parsley and salt.

Day 4:
Lunch: One large potato, boiled, baked or steamed, cut in half and garnish with 1 tablespoon double cream, 1 tablespoon yogurt, black pepper and finely chopped small onion, plus 2 slices smoked fillet of fish.
Snack: a cup of yogurt with the juice of half a lemon.
Dinner: a salad from cabbage, 1/2 cup cheese and 1 can of tuna (without oil). Season the salad with 1 tablespoon olive oil and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, Plus a toast of 1 piece whole wheat bread with 1 teaspoon butter.

Day 5:
Lunch: 1/2 cup boiled pasta, served with sauce of 1 cup grilled or baked pork fillet, 2 tablespoons of double cream, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, black pepper and basil.
Snack: a cup of yogurt with the juice of half a lemon.
Dinner: salad of 1 cup boiled potatoes, 5-6 black olives, and 1 medium chopped onion. Season with a tablespoon of lemon juice, black pepper and salt, and piece of whole wheat bread.
