Men who flirt are more likely to win the woman that they like, if she is ovulating. This was shown on a survey conducted by psychologists.
The female participants in the survey had to observe different facial expressions of men and evaluate them according to attractiveness.
The results led to the conclusion that women in ovulation easily fall for men and to be more precise, women that were ovulating, prefer men who showed flirty expressions.
Previous studies have shown that women that are in the most fertile days of the month, like tall men with more manly facial features and deep voice. By preferring these qualities, women want to increase their chances to be fertilized.
Selecting the most suitable partner is one of the fundamental aspects of human behavior, the head of the research said.
