Tea against obesity
Drinking tea can prevent obesity caused by consumption of unhealthy food, say Japanese scientists.
The researchers found that regular intake of tea suppresses the harmful effects on the body from fatty foods that lead to type 2 diabetes.
Black tea has a particularly beneficial effect on bad cholesterol, high blood sugar and insulin resistance.
The study, adds a new evidence to the already known health benefits of the tea, which include reducing the risk of heart problems, cancer and Parkinson’s disease.
Another study did show that drinking tea regularly for ten years or more can improve bone density.
