Almonds prevent from diabetes
New research shows that including almonds in the menu may reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes and heart problems.
U.S. scientists have found that eating almonds enhances the body’s sensitivity to insulin and reduces levels of bad cholesterol in people in before diabetes condition.
The study, found that after 16 weeks if you have a diet enriched with useful nuts leads to regulate bad cholesterol and has a significant improvement in insulin sensitivity.
Scientists believe the discovery shows promising results, especially for people who fall into groups that are at risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc.
