Homemade fall face and body scrub with  pumpkin, honey and rice

Pumpkin is often associated with fall and you can use it to make a homemade fall face and body scrub. All you need is one tablespoon of unsweetened pureed pumpkin (you can cook a small piece of pumpkin in the microwave and mash it after it’s cooked), one tablespoon of rice and one teaspoon of honey. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until the rice is crushed to your liking. Apply this DIY fall face and body scrub on your skin and massage it for 1-2 minutes. Rinse with cool water. To make the scrub extra special, you can add a tiny dash of pumpkin spice to it.

Homemade autumn face and body scrub with grape seeds

Grape seeds contain grape seed oil which is rich in antioxidants and fatty acids. This homemade fall face and body scrub is perfect for those who love to eat grapes, but don’t like the seeds. All you have to do is to to cat a grape into halves and take out the seeds. For a face scrub you will need: one tablespoon of grape seeds, one teaspoon of honey and 2-3 drops of extra virgin olive oil. Grind the grape seeds with a mortar and pestle or use a small processor or cofee grinder to grind them (you can choose how coarse or fine you want your grape seeds to be). Place the crushed grape seeds in a bowl, add the honey and a little bit of olive oil and mix well. Apply the mixture on your face, massage it for 1-2 minutes and leave it for extra 10 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.

Homemade fall face and body scrub with almonds

This DIY homemade autumn face and body scrub with almonds is extremely easy and simple to make. Almonds will gently remove the dead skin cells, and honey will moisturize your skin. After this procedure the skin look healthy and radiant. All you need is one tablespoon of ground almonds, one teaspoon of honey and 1/2 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil (or extra virgin oil of your choice). Mix all of the ingredients together until you get a thick mixture. Slowly massage the mixture into your skin for 1-2 minutes using circular motion. Rinse with lukewarm water. If you want to make a body scrub, double or triple the recipe. This DIY face and body scrub is great if you make your own almond milk and you’re left with ground almonds.

For this homemade fall face and body scrub with figs and apple you’ll need: 2-3 ripe figs, 1 small piece of apple (around one tablespoon) and one teaspoon of honey. Cut the figs in half and scoop the flesh into a bowl, add the apple and mash the fruits with a fork. If the apple is too hard you can grate it finely. Add the honey to the fruits and mix well. Massage the mixture into your skin for 1-2 minutes and leave it for extra 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Homemade autumn face and body scrub with pumpkin seeds

This homemade fall face and body scrub is great for all skin types because it’s really cooling and refreshing. You’ll need: 1-2 tablespoons of raw pumpkin seeds (with no shells), 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of plain unsweetened yogurt. Grind the pumpkin seeds coarsely or finely according to your liking. Place the crushed pumpkin seeds in a bowl, add the honey and yogurt and mix well. Apply the DIY face and body scrubs to your face and massage for 1-2 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. For a body scrub, double or triple the recipe.
