The cabbage soup diet is a seven-day low-calorie diet. This diet has become really popular because you can lose weight very quickly (about 10 pounds in 7 days). However, it isn’t a long term diet, so after seven days you should have your usual healthy diet and of course, you should exercise regularly.

Important! The cabbage soup diet should be applied only for 7 days. If you want to continue with it, you should take a break of it at least for two weeks so your body will be able to recover.   • 1-2 garlic cloves
  • 1 stalk of celery

  • salt, black pepper and dry herbs to taste.

Preparation:

Chop the vegetables and place them in a pot. Add enough water to cover them completely. Add the spices and cook on medium high for 10 minutes. Then cook the soup on low heat until the vegetables are cooked. You can also add 1-2 carrots.

7-day cabbage soup diet meal plan

Day 1: Along with the cabbage soup you can eat fruits as much as you like, except bananas.
Day 2: In your daily menu along with the cabbage soup, you can include some vegetables (except beans, corn and peas). Potatoes are limited. You can eat 1 baked potato with 1 teaspoon of butter.

Day 5: Along with the soup you can eat 10-15 oz of grilled lean beef or chicken breast and six fresh tomatoes. On this day you also need to drink 8 glasses of water.
Day 6: You can eat the cabbage soup, 10-15 oz or grilled lean beef or skinless chicken breast and vegetables (excluding potatoes).
Day 7: You can eat the cabbage soup and 1/4 cup of cooked brown rice, vegetables (excluding potatoes) and drink as much freshly squeezed fruit juice as you want.
