From Dusk ‘Til Dawn massage bar from Lush has a cone shape which actually is really handy, because it is easy to hold and doesn’t melt that much on your palm. The base is beige with small specks of the Ginseng Root Powder, Guarana Seed Powder and Ginkgo Leaf Powder, and the top is entirely gold and shiny. When you rub it onto your skin it melts quite nicely, it leaves just enough product of your skin without melting too much. Once applied, it absorbs relatively fast and leaves the skin super soft and silky.

Like most massage bars from Lust, the quality is excellent, probably because they use quality butters  and essential oils. Some massage bars and solid body butters tend to melt on room temperature, but From Dusk ‘Til Dawn massage bar keeps its shape even if is left in relatively warm place which is really great. So all in all, the quality of this massage bar is great, it smells good, it absorbs nicely and leaves the skin velvety soft.

The scent of From Dusk ‘Til Dawn massage bar is unique with interesting blend of citrusy and sweet and spicy notes. When you first take whiff of it it may smell a bit overpowering but that’s the thing about Lush products – they sometimes have an intensive smell. Because they use essential oils, their products smell quite natural and strong and that’s what makes their products one of a kind. From Dusk ‘Til Dawn is not a 100% citrusy and fresh, it’s more of a spicy and sweet orange type of smell, so it’s not really sweet either. You’ll probably love it if you like the smell of orange, and if you also like sweet and spicy scents.

When applied to the skin, the scent of From Dusk ‘Til Dawn massage bar lingers quite a bit on the skin. If you take a shower and you apply it as a body butter or lotion, the scent will last for at least couple of hours.
