Making a homemade face mask is more easy and simple than you think. Homemade face masks are also natural, inexpensive and you can DIY one in couple of minutes with a products that you already have in your pantry or your fridge. So here are a few nourishing homemade face masks that you can do at home and that will make your skin incredibly soft and silky.

Natural and nourishing homemade face masks

Homemade face mask with almond meal for radiant skin

This homemade face mask will clean and moisturize you skin leaving it soft and silky. Mix 3 tablespoons of almond meal with 2 1/2 teaspoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of yogurt and a bit of hot water. Apply this homemade face mask on cleaned face and leave it for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes wash your face with lukewarm water.

Homemade face mask with lemon for firmer skin

This homemade face mask will clean and shrink your pores and also make your skin firmer and refreshed. Beat 1 egg white until foamy and add 1 teaspoon of honey and a few drops of lemon juice. Immediately apply the mask on your face and rinse after 10 minutes with cold water.

Homemade face mask with apple

This homemade face mask in nourishing and moisturizing and it’s perfect for dry skin. Add 2 tablespoons of fat-free cottage cheese to a half an apple that is finely grated. Apply this nourishing mask on your face and neck, leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with warm water.

Homemade face mask with cottage cheese

This homemade nourishing facial mask is great for winter when our skin becomes very dry and sensitive. Mix 2 tablespoons of cottage cheese with 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil (you can use sweet almond oil too). Stir well and apply the mask on clean face. Leave the mask on your face for 20 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.

This homemade carrot face mask is nourishing and moisturizing but it also act as a gentle face scrub. Mash 1-2 boiled carrots (you can also use finely grated fresh carrots) and add 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil and 1 teaspoon of oatmeal. Stir well and apply the mask on your face and neck. After 20 minutes, just before rinsing, massage your skin in circular motion for 1 minute. Rinse with lukewarm water.

This homemade face mask will make your skin soft and velvety and it also smells amazing. Mix 1 tablespoon of orange juice and 1 tablespoon of double cream. Mix well and apply this mixture on your face. Wash your face with warm water after 20 minutes.

Homemade face mask with yogurt

Here is a quick and easy moisturizing homemade facial mask that requires only one ingredient that you probably always have in your fridge. Just apply a thick layer of plain thick yogurt on cleaned face. After 20 min rinse with lukewarm water.

This homemade face mask is refreshing and brightening and it is perfect for oily and acne prone skin. Mix 1 teaspoon of honey with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and apply it on a cleansed face. Wash with warm water after 15 minutes.

Homemade face mask for velvety soft skin

It may sound strange to use yeast in a homemade face mask but it does make the skin super soft. Mix couple of teaspoons of warm milk with yeast (not dry yeast, but the one that is frozen in cubes), until mushy and apply on your face. Leave it for about 30 minutes, and rinse with lukewarm water.

This is another easy and simple homemade avocado facial mask made from only one ingredient. Mash half an avocado, apply it on your face, leave it for 15 minutes and rinse.

Homemade face mask with white clay, honey and lemon

This homemade face mask is purifying and nourishing in the same time, so it is perfect for oily and acne prone skin. Mix 1-2 teaspoons of white clay, 1 tablespoon of honey, and few drops of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Mix until it becomes a homogeneous mixture and apply it onto thoroughly cleansed face. Leave it for about 20 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. The mask won’t dry because of the honey. After rinsing this homemade face mask you’ll see that your skin is soft and smooth.

Homemade face mask with milk

This homemade face mask is actually more of a toner than a mask, but it really moisturizes the skin. Dip a cotton pad into milk and apply it generously on your face. Leave it for 20 minutes. If the milk dries before the 20 minutes, apply a second coat of milk. Rinse with cold water.

Nourishing homemade face mask with egg yolk

Beat one egg yolk with 1 tablespoon of cold milk. Apply this homemade face mask on cleansed face and massage gently. Wait until the mask dries and rinse with lukewarm water or chamomile tea.

Nourishing homemade face mask with avocado

Mash half well-ripened avocado and mix it with 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil. Apply the homemade face mask on cleaned face and leave it for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes rinse with lukewarm water. Your face will be extremely velvety and soft.
