Here are few Rejuvenating DIY homemade spring hair masks that you can do from fresh and natural ingredients:

Nourishing spring homemade hair mask with banana

You will need only one banana, one egg yolk and 5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Mash or blend the banana and pass it through a sieve to make it really smooth so it will be easier your you to rinse it out of your hair. Add the egg yolk and extra virgin olive oil, mix well and apply the mixture on your hair. If you feel that this hair mask quantity is not enough, double or triple the ingredients (if you have very long hair). After you’ve spread the mixture to the roots and throughout the hair, twist it in a loose bun and put a shower cap on. The diy banana hair mask should stay on your hair for at least 20 minutes, but you’ll get the best result if you leave it for 30-40 minutes. After that, rinse your hair with warm water, and use shampoo and conditioner as usual.

Homemade vitamin hair mask for shine and strength

You will need: 1 softgel capsule of vitamin A, 1 capsule of vitamin B complex, 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and 1 egg yolk. Squeeze the softgel capsules in a bowl, add the extra virgin olive oil and the egg yolk. Mix everything well, apply the mixture on your hair, put a shower cap on and wrap your hair with a towel. Leave the homemade vitamin hair mask for about 2 hours, then wash your hair as usual, with your favorite shampoo and conditioner. After you use this DIY vitamin hair mask for several times, your hair will become more shiny and it will have more strength.

Homemade spring hair mask with potato against hair loss

Peel one large raw potato. Grate it with a grater or use a food processor and squeeze the juice. Mix 2 tablespoons of the potato juice with 2 tablespoons of aloe vera juice and 2 tablespoons of honey. Mix the ingredients very well until the honey dissolves. Rub the mixture onto your roots and gently massage your scalp with your fingers. Then put a shower cap on and wrap your head with a towel. After 2 hours, wash your hair with warm water, shampoo and conditioner. You can use this DIY hair mask no more than 2 times a week.

Moisturizing spring homemade hair mask for damaged hair

For this homemade hair mask for dry and damaged hair you will need: 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Beat the egg with the vinegar and add the olive oil. Massage the mixture onto your scalp and hair, and then untangle your hair with a wide comb. Allow the mask to stay on your hair for 15 minutes. Then wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner. Repeat after three weeks.

Rejuvenating homemade spring hair mask

This homemade hair mask will rejuvenate and nourish your hair. You will need: 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon of alcohol (brandy, vodka or rum), 1 tablespoon of oil (sweet almond oil, extra virgin olive oil or castor oil) and 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix all the ingredients until the honey dissolves and apply the mixture generously onto your roots and all the way to the ends,cover your hair with plastic bag or shower cap and wrap it in a towel. Leave the DIY hair mask for 30 minutes or up to an hour and wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner as usual. If your hair is bleached, damaged or very dry, you can use this moisturizing homemade hair mask at least 3 times a week.

Homemade hair mask with spring nettle

If you have blonde or very light hair, you might want to skip this DIY hair mask because it may darken your hair.You will need: 2 tablespoons of nettle juice (if you can find fresh nettles crush them and squeeze the juice – just be careful and wear latex gloves, or you can buy nettle juice in a drugstore), 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and 1 egg. Beat the egg well and add the olive oil and the nettle juice. Apply the DIY nettle hair mask to your hair, put a shower cap or plastic bag and wrap your head with a towel. Leave the homemade nettle hair mask for 30 minutes and then wash your hair as usual. If you do not want to make this mask, then make a nettle tea that you will use as a final rinse. Just take 1/2 cup (100 grams) of fresh nettle or 2 tablespoons of dry nettle, put it in a bowl and add 1 cup (250 ml) of boiling water. Leave the tea until it is cooled. When you’re finished washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner, first rinse your hair with water and at the end rinse it with the nettle tea.

Homemade honey hair mask for shine

You can add a lot of shine to your hair with this homemade honey hair mask. This homemade hair mask with honey is especially great for blondes because it makes the color more vibrant. Take 2 tablespoons of honey and mix it with the juice of one lemon until the honey is dissolved. Apply this mixture to your hair and untangle your hair by using a wide comb. After 10-15 minutes, rinse your hair hair thoroughly and wash it with shampoo and conditioner.

Homemade oil hair mask for split ends

The split ends can be prevented with this homemade hair mask made with avocado or coconut oil and honey, and also it will make your hair more elastic and shiny. Of course, this DIY hair mask will not replace the usual trimming because  you need to trim your hair after couple of months depending on the hair damage so it will look more healthy. You will need: 2 tablespoons of avocado or coconut oil mixed with 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Apply the homemade hair mask evenly on your hair and after 30 min wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner. If you have long hair, you can double or triple the recipe.

Moisturizing homemade hair mask for damaged and dry hair

This is extremely rich and nourishing homemade mayonnaise hair mask that will make your hair soft and moisturized. You will need: 1 / 2 cup of mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon of bee pollen or royal jelly. If you can’t find bee pollen or royal jelly, you can use some organic raw honey. Mix the bee pollen or royal jelly and mayonnaise well and apply the mixture to your roots and all the way to the ends. Allow the DIY hair mask to stay on your hair for 20-30 minutes and rinse with warm water. Finally, wash your hair with your favorite shampoo and conditioner.

The fastest homemade spring hair mask:

Here is a homemade hair mask that is extremely fast and easy to make. Mix 1 egg yolk with 3 tablespoons of brandy (or any strong alcohol) and apply the mixture to your roots and all the way to the ends.. This amount will be enough if you have short hair. If your hair is longer, double or triple this recipe. After 20-30 minutes, wash your hair with a shampoo and conditioner.

  1. All your masks above have eggs in them, lol!! Being a vegan, I can’t use eggs. For the nettle mask, what would be the better egg substitute?

    1. You can substitute the egg with something that will moisturize and nourish your hair like mashed banana or mashed avocado (if you use fruits make sure that you pass them through a fine sieve so you wont get clumps of fruit stuck in your hair)
      Or you can just use 1-2 tablespoons of your favorite natural oil like coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil (just don’t apply it on your roots).
