Homemade anti cellulite treatments: Coffee scrub treatment and detox

Homemade anti cellulite treatment #1: Coffee scrub

Yes, coffee may help you get rid of cellulite, not if you drink it, but if you use it as a homemade anti cellulite coffee scrub. Caffeine which is found in coffee is the active ingredient of many anti-cellulite creams.

The simplest way to use the power of caffeine from the coffee is to use real coarsely ground coffee.

Take about half a cup of coffee and go in the shower. Add a little bit of hot water to the coffee until it looks like a paste. It is best to make the paste with really warm water because it will help the caffeine to penetrate deeper into the skin, but don’t apply the mixture when it’s too hot so you won’t burn yourself.
Take some coffee mixture in your hands and using a circular motion, massage the affected areas (buttocks, thighs etc).
Massage your legs with this homemade anti cellulite coffee scrub for about 5 minutes, then rinse it.
The best effect is achieved if the coffee is rinsed with cold water. The cold water will shrink your pores and will make your skin tighter.

Take half a cup of coffee, mix it with hot water until it looks like a paste, then add 2 teaspoons of olive oil or rosemary oil. You can also add 1-2 tablespoons of sugar and create a homemade anti cellulite coffee scrub.
Place old newspapers on the floor to protect it from staining and using a circular motion rub the mixture onto your skin on the places where you have cellulite.
Then with a plastic kitchen wrap, wrap the areas on which you applied the homemade anti cellulite coffee scrub.
Sit down and relax. Within 30 minutes while the caffeine is doing its job, you can listen to music, read a few pages from your favorite book or watch an episode from your favorite series. It is proven that relaxation helps against cellulite.
Finally, rinse the coffee mixture with warm or cold water.
After this homemade anti cellulite coffee treatment, you will immediately notice that your skin is smoother and softer, and over time you will notice that the cellulite is reduced.

! Important:
Clean your shower as soon as you can, because coffee can stain it.

Homemade anti cellulite treatment #2: Massage and dry skin brushing

Massaging your skin is an effective and simple way to reduce cellulite, and you can combine it with the coffee scrub too. With massaging and brushing you will improve your blood circulation, and you will also remove the dead skin cells from the upper layer of the skin. As a result form this homemade anti cellulite treatment, you will get softer and smoother skin, and the cellulite will start to decrease over time.

Get a body brush with soft hairs or a special anti cellulite brush (it has soft bristles and some rubber ‘bumps’ too) and start to massage and dry skin brushing in circular motion. Don’t apply any body lotion or massage oil – the skin needs to be dry, but if you have really sensitive skin, then apply a bit of coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil. It is best to do this before showering.
Start from the feet and go up to the thighs and buttocks. Do not use strong pressure.

Homemade anti cellulite treatment #3: Homemade anti cellulite massage oil

It is well known that some essential oils can actually help to decrease cellulite. A great essential oil with anti cellulite properties is juniper essential oil. When combined with extra virgin olive oil, they create a great homemade anti cellulite massage oil.

Mix 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil with 10 drops of juniper berry essential oil. If you don’t like the smell of juniper, you can also add 1-2 drops of grapefruit or lemon essential oil. Mix the oils well and you’ll have an anti cellulite and moisturizing massage oil. Use this homemade anti cellulite massage oil on your affected areas and massage the skin for 10 minutes. You can combine this massage oil treatment with the dry skin brushing to get an effective anti cellulite treatment which will leave your skin soft and moisturized too.

Homemade anti cellulite treatment #4: Lemon juice – detox

Lemon juice helps in the process of ‘melting’ the cellulite. Take a cup and fill the half with freshly squeezed lemon juice then top it off with lukewarm water. If you have an intolerance to sourness, add a teaspoon of honey. If you tolerate spicy food, add a dash of cayenne pepper to your lemon juice. Lemon juice and cayenne pepper are known detox combo.

Drink the prepared lemon juice 2-3 times daily. Consumption of lemon juice itself will not help you get rid of cellulite – it helps with body detoxification, but in combination with massage, brushing and other methods it gives excellent results.

Homemade anti cellulite treatment #5: Apple cider vinegar – detox

It is proven that apple cider vinegar can help with the fight against cellulite:

As a drink: In one cup of water add 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar (undistilled, preferably organic). If you can’t stand the sour taste, you can sweeten it with a little honey. Consume this drink once a day, before you have your breakfast. This drink is also great for body detoxification.
On your skin. Mix apple cider vinegar and olive oil in a ratio of 3:1 (Example: 3 tablespoons of cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon olive oil). Massage this homemade anti cellulite treatment 7-10 minutes a day, then take your morning shower.

Helpful Tip! Don’t stick just with one homemade anti cellulite treatment. Combine at least couple of them to for a better results.

Start today and take measures against  the unpleasant cellulite so you can carelessly show off your body in the summer.
