Luckily, fall brings tons of fruits and vegetables that have a double purpose – they are delicious as a snack and you can make a DIY homemade fall face masks with them. With these homemade fall facial masks, you’ll restore your skin from the summer heat and prepare it for the harsh winter.

Moisturizing DIY homemade fall facial mask

For this DIY homemade fall facial mask you’ll need: 1/4 piece of an apple, 1 egg yolk, 1 teaspoon of honey, 2-3 large grapes and 2 teaspoons of baked or steamed pumpkin (you can also cook it in the microwave). Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get a smooth paste. If you don’t have a blender, you can also mash them with a fork or with a mortar and pestle. Apply the DIY fall facial mask on your face (you can apply it on your neck also) and leave it for 20-30 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

This homemade fall face mask is nourishing and refreshing in the same time. To make it, you’ll need: 10 large grapes, 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get a smooth mixture. Apply this DIY fall face mask on your face (you can apply it on your neck also) and eave it for 20 minutes. Rinse it with lukewarm water.

This homemade fall facial mask will nourish your skin and make it soft and silky. It’s suitable for every skin type, even acne prone skin. You will need: 2 tablespoons of steamed or baked pumpkin (you can also cook it in the microwave) and one teaspoon of honey. Place the pumpkin and honey in a blender and blend until you get creamy paste. If you don’t have a blender, you can just mash the pumpkin with a fork and mix in the honey. Apply the DIY fall facial mask on your face and leave it for 20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. You can also use this mask as an DIY fall eye mask too, just place a bit of the mixture on two cotton pads, spread it a little and place it on your eyes. Rinse your eyes after 10-15 minutes.

Apples are available all year round, but their harvest season is fall, so that’s when you can find them in abundance. For this homemade fall facial mask you will need: 3 tablespoons of grated apple, 1 egg white and a little oat four or oatmeal to make the mask thicker. Beat the egg white until foamy, add the grated apple and enough oat flour to make the mask thicker. Apply the mask to your face and leave it for 20 minutes. All you need is one small carrot, 1 teaspoon of honey and one tablespoon of oat flour or oatmeal. Grate the carrot finely and add the honey and oatmeal and mix well until combined. Apply the mask on your face and leave it for 20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Rosehips are incredibly rich in Vitamin C and their harvesting season is in fall, so that’s when you’ll most likely find them. The homemade rosehip face mask will moisturize your skin and make it more radiant. If you can’t find fresh rosehips, you can use dried rosehips or rosehip oil which you can probably find in a health food store. You will need: 5 fresh or dried rosehips or 5-10 drops of rosehip oil, 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt, If you’re using dried rosehips, add 2 tablespoons of hot water and leave them for 10 minutes to soften them. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Apply the mask on your face and leave t for 20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.
