10 beauty tips recommended by experts

Expert beauty tip #1: Salty water against acne

Dissolve 2 teaspoons of sea salt in 8 oz. of warm water and dip some clean cheesecloth (or cotton pad) into the solution. Squeeze the cheese cloth gently and place it on your face. Leave it for 10-15 minutes, then rinse your face with lukewarm water. You can also use this trick against chest and back acne.

Expert beauty tip #2: Less wrinkles with silk pillowcase

Many experts recommend using a silk pillowcase. Silk doesn’t ‘soak up’ the moisture from your skin like cotton does, so it will keep your skin moisturized, and it’ll minimize the wrinkling of your skin during sleep, resulting in fewer wrinkles and fine lines on your skin.

Expert beauty tip #3: Calm the messy eyebrows

Take an old toothbrush (or  you can use a clean spooly from an old mascara) and spray some hairspray on it. Then with the toothbrush, brush your eyebrows. It is an easy way to fix your eyebrows and make them look neat and arranged.

Expert beauty tip #4: Long-lasting lipstick

Even the long-lasting lipsticks can fade after several hours or even worse, they can fade only in some parts of your lips which doesn’t look nice. After applying the first coat of lipstick, place a very thin paper napkin on your lips, apply some transparent or mineral powder over it and with your fingers gently pat it onto your lips. The paper napkin will serve as a filter and only a small part of the powder will go on your lips, but it will be enough to fix the lipstick. Then apply another layer of your lipstick and you’re done.

Expert beauty tip #5: Use up your mascara completely

You finished your favorite mascara, you haven’t bough another one and it is difficult to apply a good coat from it? Place the mascara in a glass with warm water and let it stand for 2 minutes. The heat will allow you to easily use up even the last drop of your mascara.

Expert beauty tip #6: Tame the frizzy hair

If you have hair that fly in every direction and you want it to be smooth so you can style it, squeeze some lemon (1-2 tablespoons) in your shampoo or conditioner. Lemon juice will make your hair smoother and softer.

Expert beauty tip #7: Bad hair day – Modern high messy bun

Bad hair days happen to all of us, and when we have such day, we usually put our hair in a bun. But you can transform your ordinary boring bun into messy, soft and romantic bun in one minute. When you tie your hair high on your head in a bun, try to have a contrast between your hair and the hair that is gathered in the bun. The hair on your head should be neat, shiny and sleek so use some anti frizz serum, and make the hair in your bun as messy as you can. For an extra romantic touch, add a flower in your bun.

Expert beauty tip #8: The perfect ponytail

The best way to tie your hair in a perfect ponytail is to lie down on your bed so that the back of your head will hang from the edge of the bed. If you want to achieve ideal sleek ponytail, first wet your hair brush, then brush your hair in a ponytail. Apply some anti frizz serum and hairspray to tame the flyaways.

Expert beauty tip #9: Long-lasting nail polish

Before you apply your nail polish, dip your fingers in warm water and brush them with a small nail brush. This will eliminate all traces of nail polish remover and natural oils that make your nail polish to chip faster. So by following this expert beauty tip you’ll make your nail polish last longer.

Expert beauty tip #10: Romantic glow on your face

If you want your face to have a subtle glow, use a colorless lip balm. Apply the balm just below your eyebrows and on top of the apples of your cheeks. That way you will emphasize your eyes and face. If you want to make a cream blush, mix the lip balm with a little peach or pink blush and apply it on your cheeks.
